Battery – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that he and the suspect, a roommate and his partner, had been arguing throughout the day. At one point during an argument, a photo frame was broken. A second incident occurred when the suspect raised his hand to hit the victim but the victim grabbed the suspect’s hand and held it until the suspect calmed down. The suspect responded that he initially called the police because the victim had hit him and also grabbed his fingers during an argument about the usage of illegal drugs.  After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that she was at the suspect’s place to pick up a pair of glasses belonging to her son. She met with the suspect, her ex boyfriend, and an argument ensued while in an elevator. The suspect used the victim on to the floor and hit her before fleeing the location. Responding officers were successful in contacting the suspect and having him returned to the location. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated male who was harassing passing pedestrians. Responding officers located the suspect and observed him drinking from a bottle of beer. The officers ordered the suspect to put down the bottle numbers times but he was not cooperative and the bottle had to be forcefully removed. In an attempt to detain the suspect, who was still uncooperative, the suspect attempted to flee. A witness stepped forward and stated that the she had seen the suspect intoxicated on multiple occasions and that the suspect also often used drugs which caused paranoia. The suspect was cited and transported to county jail for detox.

Officers were on patrol and flagged down regarding a sexual battery on MUNI. The victim reported that she was on a MUNI train when the suspect left his seat and approached her. The suspect reached out and inappropriately touched the victim before immediately exiting the train. Officers located the suspect but the witness was unable to meet with them to complete the verification process. The suspect was identified and released.
