Warrant Arrest – Arrested

St Francis Blvd & Portola Dr
Officers responded to a report of a possible robbery. Responding officers made contact with the caller, who stated that the other party had wanted his property back but did not rob him. The caller also admitted that he was upset that the other party had originally promised him a job, but failed to follow through. A computer check on both parties revealed that the caller had a warrant for his arrest. The caller was arrested.

Battery – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a battery incident between a couple. The victim, who was on a road trip from Florida to California, had received a call and was confronted by the suspect about an ex-girlfriend. Shortly afterwards, the suspect demanded that the victim leave. While the victim was gathering his items, the suspect grabbed his arm and scratched him. The suspect responded that the victim had grabbed her backpack and she reached out to stop him from taking her property. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Violation of Restraining Order – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a restraining order violation. The suspect, with a well known history, was observed in front of a store which was in direct violation of the restraining order. The suspect was no longer at the scene when the officers arrived but the responding officers located him in front of his house. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a couple in a fight. The victim reported that she and the suspect had been drinking earlier and that the suspect was upset that a musician had recently passed away. At one point, the suspect was unusually angry and threatened to cut the victim’s throat with a knife. The victim decided that bringing the suspect to a bar would help his mood but while at the bar, an argument ensued and the suspect kicked the victim. The victim threatened to call the police which caused the suspect to immediately flee the location.

Officers responded to a report of a possible burglary. The victim reported that after investigating why the house alarm system were set off, the suspect was observed walking in the backyard with a long stick in his hand. Responding officers  investigated and located a crowbar that had been left behind. It was determined that the suspect had attempted to open a window in the laundry room, which had set off the alarms.  

Vandalism – Cited

2600 Sloat Blvd
Officers responded to a report of a suspect banging on a window at a motel before throwing firework at it. Responding officers located the suspect and detained him. The victim told the officers that he was looking out the window and saw the suspect throw something at the window which was then followed by a popping sound. An investigation of the window revealed damages to the property. The suspect was later cited.
