Robbery

2300 Irving St
Officers responded to a report of a bank robbery. The witness reported that the suspects had walked into the bank and showed one of the tellers a note saying that he had a gun and to give him money. Frightened, the tellers gave the suspect money and the suspect immediately walked back out of the bank.

Officers responded to a report of a possible fight. The victim reported that she was at the church to pick up food when she was approached by the suspect, who asked for food. The victim replied that she did not have extra food to spare which caused the suspect to become furious and start yelling at her. The victim accidentally dropped two packages of spaghetti on the ground, which was snatched up by the suspect who then ran away with them. Several other people spoke up and commented that the suspect was known to their church group to have always been aggressive and giving people a hard time. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Assault – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of an assault between a couple. Responding officers arrived and immediately heard screaming from the front door of the house. The officers separated the suspect and victim and observed that both had sustained injuries. Both were conscious, but the suspect had blood all over his hands and large laceration on the back of his head and the victim was bleeding from her nose with bruises on her neck. 

The victim reported that they had just returned from a night out when the suspect wanted decided that he wanted to go back out to party but the victim refused and went to the bathroom and closed the door. This angered the suspect, who pounded on the door until the victim opened it. When the victim opened the door, the suspect punched the victim multiple times in the face before dragging her out of the bathroom by her hair. The victim responded by punching the suspect back and pushing him on to the floor.  The suspect, who appeared highly intoxicated, stated that they had both hit each other but everything as ok. After further investigation and speaking with the witness, who confirmed seeing the victim being hit and dragged out of the bathroom, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a possible violation of a restraining order. The victim stated that she had a restraining order against the suspect but a computer check revealed that it had not been served yet. The suspect, who was still on scene, told the officers that they were only having an argument. The computer check also revealed that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested and the order was served.
