Graffiti – Cited

2000 Taraval St
Officers were notified by an anonymous citizen that someone was in the process of drawing graffiti on a wall belonging to a 7-11. The officers made contact with the suspect, who was walking away from the graffiti. The officers attempted to detain the suspect but the suspect resisted and stated that he did not “tag” anything. The officers placed the suspect in handcuffs and a search of the suspect located a can of spray paint and a book filled with drawings that were similar to the graffiti. After further investigation and questioning of the suspect, he admitted to the graffiti. The suspect was cited.
