Robbery with a Knife

1500 Kirkham St
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that he was walking home when the suspect suddenly approached him from behind and forcefully took the victim’s backpack and jacket. The victim turned around and observed that the suspect was holding on to a knife. The suspect told the victim to not say anything and immediately fled the area.  

Robbery with a Gun

41st Ave & Pacheco St
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that he was talking on his cell phone while walking when he noticed that the suspect was running towards him with a small handgun. A second suspect reached around the victim and grabbed his property from his back pocket. Both suspects then fled the area on foot.  

Traffic Violation – No License Issued – Cited

28th Ave & Kirkham St
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle failing to make a stop behind the limit line. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been expired since November 2017. The driver was cited.

Burglary – Possession of Stolen Property – Resisting Arrest – Arrested

Officers were on patrol and were flagged down by a witness. The witness reported that a woman had just stolen a laptop and pointed to the suspect. The victim stated that she was cleaning rooms at Lincoln High School when she saw the suspect going through multiple drawers in various class rooms. The witness confronted the suspect but the suspect fled the scene and the witness chased after her. The officers attempted to make contact with the suspect but the suspect resisted, was uncooperative and refused to comply with the officer’s lawful orders. Eventually, the suspect was successfully detained and a search revealed that the suspect was in possession of property belonging to multiple victims. The suspect was arrested.
