Assault

Officers responded to a report of an assault. The witnesses stated that they had observed the suspect, a known shoplifter, walk into the store. As the witnesses were watching the suspect, the suspect noticed them and immediately walked back out of the store. As the suspect neared one of the victims, the suspect bumped into the victim on purpose and swung a bag of glass bottles against the victim’s head and causing injuries to the victim. The victim then fled the store.
