Warrant Arrest – False Id to Police – Shoplifting – Arrested

200 West Portal Ave
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting incident. The suspect was observed selecting multiple items of store merchandise, which then quickly disappeared from view in a suspicious manner. The witness reviewed the security footage and saw that the items were placed directly into bags that the suspect was carrying. Responding officers located the suspect, who had already exited the store, and detained her. Despite initially giving a false name to the officers, the suspect was identified and a computer check revealed that the suspect had four warrants for her arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Officers were on patrol land observed a vehicle being driven by a known subject who did not have a driver’s license. The officers conducted a computer check which confirmed that the driver still did not have a driver’s license. The officers conducted a traffic stop and after further investigation, the driver was cited. 

Stealing Services – Resisting Arrest – Cited

Officers responded to a report of two people pushing and yelling at each other. Responding officers arrived at the location and the suspect immediately attempted to walk away from them. Despite the suspect refusing to stop when ordered by the officers, the suspect was detained without further incident. The victim reported that the suspect had entered the restraint, ordered food and ate it before leaving the restaurant and not paying for his meal. After further investigation the suspect was cited.

Driving While Intoxicated – Cited

Officers responded to a report of a possibly intoxicated driver. Dispatch reported that the driver was driving his vehicle despite having punctured tires. Responding officers located the vehicle and conducted a DUI investigation on the driver. The victim stated that the victim had backed into his vehicle before immediately fleeing the area. After further testing and investigation, the driver was cited.
