Officer responded to a report of an assault. The victim, a school security guard, reported that a group of students that did not attend the school were acting suspiciously as they approached him. The victim attempted to take a photo of the license plate on the suspect’s vehicle, but a male driver exited the vehicle and tried to take away the victim’s phone. The victim backed away from and suspect and pushed the suspect away from him. However, a second suspect also exited the vehicle to push and punch the victim. The victim fell and dropped his phone, which was immediately snatched by a third suspect before all three suspects fled the area.
