Burglary – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The witness approached the officers and reported that he had been out walking and saw someone with a flashlight inside a closed business, which also had a shattered glass door. The officers responded to the area and detained the suspect. A search of the suspect revealed multiple items of stolen merchandise in the suspect’s pockets. The victim responded to the scene and confirmed that the stolen items all belonged to him. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
Attempted Robbery

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that he had been smoking outside his home when the suspect approached him and demanded money while holding on to a long knife. The victim responded that he did not have anything to give to the suspect. The suspect searched the victim and confirmed that the victim did not have any property on him and immediately left the area.
Violation of Stay Away Order – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

1100 Ocean Ave
An officer on foot patrol was flagged down by an employee regarding a suspect with a stay away order. The suspect was known to the officer but he was unable to locate her in the nearby area. However, the officer received information matching the suspect that he was searching for, who had just defecated on a sidewalk. The suspect was detained and a computer check revealed a warrant for her arrest. The suspect was arrested.
