Possession of Stolen Property – Theft – Cited

Officers responded to a report of stolen property. The victim reported that she had arrived home and reviewed her security video and discovered that the suspect had picked up and stolen one of her packages. Responding officers located and detained the suspect. A search of the suspect’s bag revealed multiple items of stolen property, including the package belonging to the victim. Despite being Mirandized, the suspect admitted to stealing the items. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.
