Officers responded to a report of a package theft in progress. The witness reported that he had observed the suspect walking away with his neighbor’s packages and chased after him. Responding officers located the suspect and detained him. A search revealed that the suspect was in possession of three packages, which had been stolen from the victim’s front door. The suspect was cited.

Officers responded to a report of a battery between roommates. The victim told the officers that he and the suspect, his roommate, had gotten into a verbal argument earlier. After the victim turned on a table lamp, the suspect became angrier and punched the victim in his face. Responding officers arrived at the location and made contact with both parties. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
