Battery – Cited

3600 Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that the suspect was spraying water at the back of the victim’s house and that the backyard was flooded. The victim confronted the suspect, who responded by angrily spraying the victim with water. Responding officers located the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was cited.  

Stolen Vehicle – Cited

1100 Rivera St
Officers were on patrol in the area when they observed a vehicle driving in the dark without it’s headlights on. The officers conducted a traffic stop and approached the driver, a juvenile, who immediately stated that the vehicle did not belong to him and that he did not have a license. An inspection of the driver revealed an ankle monitor that had been wrapped in tin foil and the driver stated that he was on probation. Responding officers made contact with the owner of the vehicle, who confirmed that it had been stolen. After further investigation and due to the fact that the driver was a juvenile, he was cited.

Embezzlement – Arrested

200 Winston Ave
Officers responded to a report of a suspect being detained by security. The witness, a lost prevention agent, told the officers that the suspect was observed taking money out of the register. The witness conducted an investigation and discovered that $2000 dollars was missing out of the suspect’s register over a seven day period. The witness provided security video of the incidents and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers were on patrol in the area then they observed a vehicle without front license plates. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the suspect revealed an arrest warrant out of Palo Alto. The driver was arrested.
