Suspicious Occurrence – Under the Influence in a Public Place – Arrested

2000 17th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a subject pounding on the door and yelling. When the officers arrived, they noticed a broken window and were able to locate the subject who showed obvious signs of being intoxicated. The officers also determined that the subject had an argument with her boyfriend in the house. In order not escalate the argument, the subject left the house to cool off. However, the boyfriend locked the doors and refused her entry so the subject broke a window and attempted to climb back into the house. The officers made attempts to contact someone to care for the intoxicated subject but they were unable to do so. The officers arrested the subject and transported her to the drunk tank.

Officers responded to a report of a physical altercation between a male and female and responding officers were able to locate the parties who were involved. The victim stated that they were in a vehicle with the suspect was driving. The victim was about to drink from a soda can when the suspect slammed on the brakes which caused her to spill her drink. The victim stated that she voiced her opinions to the suspect and the suspect hit her. The victim stated that they started to fight with each other until the police showed up. A witness also told the officers what he had observed. The suspect was later arrested for the assault.

Officers responded to a report of a possible suspect trying to break into a building. Upon arrival, the officers located a suspect matching the description in front of the building. The suspect also saw the officers and attempted to flee the scene by running away from the officers. The officers caught up to the suspect and detain him. After an inspection, the officers were able to determine that there were no damages made to the building and no entry was made. However, a computer check of the suspect revealed an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

19th Ave & Junipero Serra Blvd
An officer was on patrolling when he observed a vehicle driving without it’s lights on. The officer followed the vehicle and determined that he was going 42 mph on a posted 30 mph zone. The officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he had only a driver’s permit with restrictions. The driver was cited.

2900 San Jose Ave
Officers responded to a gas station regarding a suspect inside the store eating food that was unpaid and refusing to leave. Upon arrival, the officers located the suspect and detained her but the suspect refused to give them her name and information. However, a responding officer recognized the suspect from a previous incident when they also had to escort her off a property. The suspect was cited for the above violation.

Sloat Blvd & 22nd Ave
An officer was in the area conducting traffic enforcement using LIDAR. The officer observed a vehicle traveling 50-55 mph in a 35 mph zone. The officer conducted a traffic stop and the driver told the officer that she did not have her driver’s license on her but provided her passport. While speaking to the officer, the driver presented obvious signs of intoxication such as smelling of alcohol, slurred speech and bloodshot eyes. The officer conducted a sobriety test which the driver failed. After further investigation, it was noted that the driver already had her license suspended for DUI and was currently on double DUI probation. The driver was arrested.
