Marijuana Offense – Admonished

School resource officers were on patrol when they observed several students hanging out in front of the stair well of a stranger’s house. As the students were leaving, an officer advised the students about the neighborhood’s numerous loitering complaints and also noticed a small bottle of marijuana was left behind. The officers detained the students and asked them if they had any more marijuana. The students confessed that they had more in their backpack and they were escorted back to the principal’s office where their parents were notified.
