Officers responded to a couple fighting. The victim and suspect were having an argument about what had transpired at a bar that they visited earlier that night. The suspect told the officers that he only pushed the victim once but the victim stated the suspect got angry and also slapped them. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

An officer was patrolling when he observed a vehicle with a traveling 48 mph in a 30 mph zone. The officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed her license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

An officer was patrolling when he observed a vehicle passing another vehicle in an unsafe manner. The officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed her license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

An officer was patrolling when he observed a vehicle with an expired registration tag. The officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Driving While under the Influence of Alcohol – Possession of Firearm – Arrested

Great Hwy & Skyline Blvd
Officers received a report of a possible drunk driver. Dispatch provided the officer the make, model and color of the vehicle. When the officers arrived on scene, a witness was able to point out the vehicle to them. The officer went to speak with the driver and immediately noticed the strong and distant odor of alcohol on the driver’s breath. The driver was given a sobriety test, which he failed. The driver was also observed with drooping eyelids, slow speech and slurred words.  The officers then conducted an inventory search of the driver’s vehicle before towing and located a loaded firearm in the vehicle. After further investigation, the driver was arrested.

Assault

Irving St & 7th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim stated that he was waiting at the bus stop when an unknown suspect came up from behind. The suspect wrapped his arms around the victim’s neck and threw him onto the ground. The suspect then kicked the victim on the ribs few time and then fled the area.
Suspect – white male :: 45-50 years :: 6’00”-6’02” tall :: 200-225 lbs wearing light blue jacket and blue jeans.

Assault

La Playa St & Judah St
Officers responded to a report of a possible robbery. The victim stated that he was taking his garbage container inside when the suspect walked into his garage holding a gun. The victim said he grabbed at the gun and a struggle ensued. The victim was able to disarm the suspect and the suspect fled the scene.
Suspect – black male :: 23-27 years :: 5’10” tall :: 160 lbs
