As part of the Taraval Investigation Team’s (SIT), Sgt. Hom conducted an exhaustive investigation tracking stolen items and identifying suspects that had been involved in an auto break-in. In his search, Sgt. Hom located an item on EBay that was reported stolen. After further investigation, the address that was linked to the EBay posting was obtained which led to a search warrant being issued. Officers and SIT team members executed the search warrant and discovered a cache of even more stolen properties plus the arrest of three people.
