Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Irving St & 19th Ave
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle making a left turn at an intersection where left turns were prohibited. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Elder neglect – Arrested

00 De Montfort Ave
Officers responded to a well being check. Responding officers arrived to an open front door which still had a security chain engaged and heard a voice cry out in distress from inside the residence. The officers forced their way into the house and were met an unsafe clutter of items crammed haphazardly together coupled with a pungent odor of urine and feces. The victim was located on her bed and was unable to move. The victim reported that the suspect was suppose to take care of her, but refused to unless she gave him money. The victim was transported to the hospital. After further investigation and search, the suspect was located and arrested.

Robbery

46th Ave & Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that he had just gotten off the MUNI and was waiting for another bus while looking at his phone when two suspects approached him. One of the suspects wrapped his arms around the victim and the other pointed a “cap gun” at him and demanded money. One of the suspects also knocked the phone out of the victim’s hand, which they picked up off the ground and stole before fleeing the scene. 

Driving while Intoxicated – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a multiple vehicle accident. Officers arrived on scene and located a three vehicle collision. While investigating the collision, the officer determined that one of the drivers was intoxicated. After further testing, the driver was arrested.

Traffic Violation – Resisting or Delaying Officer Duties – Cited

An officer observed a group of skateboarders riding on the sidewalk, which was in violation of traffic code. The officer was in the middle of citing one suspect when another rode by. The officer confiscated the skateboard of the second suspect and asked for his identification but the suspect walked away. However, the suspect turned around and walked back to demand his skateboard but was told that it would only be returned after the citation was issued. The second suspect walked away and never returned. The first  suspect was cited.

Brandishing a Weapon– Arrested

2300 Noriega St
Officers responded to a report of a suspect with a knife at the grocery store. Responding officers received the location of the suspect from the victim and detained the suspect. A search of the suspect revealed an expandable baton on his person. The victim reported that he was in the bathroom when the suspect started screaming and yelling. The victim told the suspect to quiet down which made the suspect even more angry. The suspect then pushed the victim from the back and grabbed something metallic, which the victim thought was a knife. An employee witnessed the incident and struggled to pry the knife out of the suspect’s hand as the suspect left the bathroom. After further investigation, the suspect was later arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a theft. The witness reported three suspects leaving the store after they had stolen multiple items. Officer searched the area and locate the suspects. While one of the suspects was cooperative, the other two suspects refused to provide information about their identity. After further investigation, all three suspects were identified and cited.
