Battery

Holloway Ave & Brighton Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that she was trying to find a parking spot when the vehicle in front of her stopped and the driver exited to question why she was following them. An argument ensued and the suspect spat and punched the victim before driving away.

Moraga St & Sunset Blvd
The victim came to Taraval station to report a battery. The victim stated that he was about to make a right turn when the suspect made a left turn first. The victim rolled down the window to confront the suspect which prompted the suspect to yell back and and spitting into the victim’s face before driving away.

 

Vehicle Violation – Suspended License – Cited

Lake Merced Blvd & Sunset Blvd
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle driving at 15 mph before failing to make a stop at a posted stop sign. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Robbery
7:23 am
19th Ave & Rossmoor Dr
Officers responded to a report of a suspect chasing someone with a knife. The victim reported that he was asleep on a church’s stairway when he felt someone trying to steal his bag. The suspect immediately ran off and the victim gave chase. However, when the victim caught up to the suspect, the suspect brandished a knife at him. The victim wrestled the knife away and detained the suspect until the police arrived.

1400 23rd Ave
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim had just gotten off the MUNI train when the suspect approached him and pointed a handgun at him. The suspect demanded his property and then fled on foot with the stolen items. 

Battery

1200 Ocean Ave
Officers responded to a report of loud screaming. The victim reported that she had borrowed money from a nearby casino two weeks ago. Earlier that day, after the suspect had contacted the victim numerous times to be paid back, the victim handed a check to the suspect. However, the check’s date was wrong and the suspect demanded a corrected check but with twice the amount of money that was originally borrowed. The victim refused and the suspect slapped the victim on her head. 

Driving While Intoxicated – Arrested

19th Ave & Judah St
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision. Officers arrived on scene and observed a single vehicle collision into parked vehicles. The officers made contact with the driver and determined that he was intoxicated. Officers conducted a field sobriety test on the driver, which he failed. After further investigation, the driver was arrested.
