Vehicle Violation \u2013 Suspended Driver\u2019s License \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle with an expired registration sticker. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Resisting or Delaying Officers Duties \u2013 Traffic Violation – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 4:22 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Sloat Blvd & 19th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n An officer observed a suspect crossing 19th Ave in the middle of the street, despite the heavy traffic, and made contact.\u00a0While speaking to the suspect, the officer noted that there was\u00a0an open glass bottle of alcohol inside the suspect\u2019s jacket. The officer then asked the suspect to sit down, but the suspect refused and started walking away. Additional\u00a0officers arrived on scene and detained the suspect. A search of the suspect\u00a0located a folded pocket knife, a half empty bottle of whiskey and a\u00a0glass pipe commonly used for smoking methamphetamine. After further investigation, the\u00a0suspect was later arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
