Discharging a Firearm at Occupied Building<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 1200 Ocean Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of shots being fired in the area. Responding officers arrived and heard the shattering of glass from a nearby store and bus shelter but were unable to located the suspects. A witness reported that he had heard a small caliber shot going off and a second witness observed the suspect pacing around the area before the shots were fired. No injuries, damages or additional shots were reported or documented for the incident.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Assault \u2013 Resisting Arrest \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 1800 8th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a possible assault. The victim reported that the suspect, her son, was her caretaker\u00a0but constantly uses alcohol and PCP purchased with the money she received for in home support. The victim also stated that she told the suspect to leave but he returned without permission. When confronted, the suspect head butted the victim. The officers located the suspect, who was sleeping on the couch, and he denied touching or harming the victim. However, while speaking to the victim, the suspect attempted to flee but were detained by a second set of officers at the door.\u00a0<\/span>After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers responded to a report of a threats made by a family member. The victim reported that the suspect, her cousin, was told that his girlfriend was no longer allowed at the victim’s home. The suspect became angry and started punching the walls. Afterwards, the\u00a0suspect also called the victim and threatened to harm her and her house.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
