Battery \u2013 Possession of a Switchblade \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 500 John Muir Dr<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers arrived at the location to serve a restraining order notification to a suspect who had been involved in a domestic incident. While the officers were in the elevator to the suspect’s apartment, the suspect entered the same elevator. The officers detained the suspect without incident and served the restraining order. When questioned if he had any weapons in his possession, the suspect responded that he had a pocketknife which later was revealed to be an illegal switchblade.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The suspect was arrested<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shoplifting with Force \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 1600 Ocean Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to Walgreen\u2019s regarding a robbery. The victim, a store manager, reported that the suspect was observed acting suspiciously when he walked into the store. The suspect walked immediately to the electronics aisle and briefly disappeared from view before walking rapidly back out of the store. The victim noted that the suspect was trying to conceal a box inside his jacket and attempted to stop the suspect. The suspect responded by hitting the victim three times, which caused the victim to back away fearfully. The suspect then exited the store and entered a nearby Target in an attempt to change his clothing. A Target employee notified the police and responding officers located the suspect. A search of the suspect revealed the stolen items from Walgreen’s. After further investigation, the <\/span>suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n
