Shoplifting with Force \u2013 Arrested<\/strong><\/span>
\n 6:48 pm<\/strong><\/span>
\n 2400 Irving St<\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting incident. While en-route, the officers located a person matching the suspect’s description and detained the subject. The witness reported that a store employee had attempted to stop the suspect from leaving the store with unpaid merchandise but a second suspect had immediately walked over and brandished a knife while threatening to hurt the employee. The witness retreated and both suspects fled. The witness confirmed that the detained subject was the first suspect who had initially taken the merchandise. The officers were unsuccessful in locating the second suspect. After further investigation, the first<\/span>\u00a0suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery<\/strong><\/span>
\n 11:20 pm<\/strong><\/span>
\n 19th<\/sup> Ave & Irving St<\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a robbery with a gun.\u00a0 The victim said he was crossing 19th Ave leaving a liquor store. He returned to his vehicle that was parked on Irving Street across from the Chevron Station. \u00a0The victim was approached by 3 suspects.\u00a0 One of the suspects was holding onto a firarm and demanded his wallet. One of the suspects punched the victim and took his wallet and fled the scene.<\/span><\/p>\n

Battery \u2013 Threats<\/strong><\/span>

\n Confidential<\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of an incident of battery between a couple. The victim stated that she was in bed while the suspect was looking for clothes, which were lying on top of the bed. The suspect asked the victim to move and became upset. The suspect then started yelling at the victim and dragged her off the bed by her hair before punching the victim several times and leaving the house. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
