Robbery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 1700 Sloat Blvd<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to Lake Shore Plaza regarding a report of an armed robbery. The victim, who was very distracted, reported that he had set up a meeting using the app “Offer-Up” for a pair of Jordan shoes. The victim stated that he had just parked and was removing the shoes when the suspect drove up directly behind his car. The suspect stepped out from the driver’s seat and indicated that he had a gun tucked in from of his waist band before demanding the victim’s keys, wallet and money. The suspect also demanded that the second victim go to a nearby ATM and withdraw money as well. The suspect then drove off with the stolen property. The victims reported that they observed a second suspect inside the vehicle as it fled. A witness also reported hearing the suspect yell that the victim owed them money. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\n Officers responded to the area of Saint Ignatius School regarding a robbery. The victim, a school employee, reported that he was taking the trash out when he was suddenly pushed from behind. While trying to get back up, the victim was hit with something hard on the top of his head by one suspect while a second suspect went through his pockets and took his wallet. Immediately after, the suspects fled the scene. A witness stated that he had observed the suspects but was unable to see their faces.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
