Warrant Arrest \u2013 Traffic Violation \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 19th Ave & Judah St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n An officer was driving south on 19th Ave when he observed a pedestrian walking along the median of 19th Ave. The pedestrian then proceeded to cross the street without regard to oncoming traffic. Multiple vehicles had to suddenly brake to avoid a collision. The officer detained the pedestrian and a computer check revealed<\/span>\u00a0that he had a warrant for his arrest. <\/span>The pedestrian was cited for pedestrian in the roadway and arrested for the warrant.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n School officers were exiting Lincoln High School when a loud exhaust was heard and a vehicle was observed accelerating away at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was estimated to have travelled at 30mph in a 15mph zone, where there were multiple students walking nearby while on their lunch break.\u00a0<\/span>The officer conducted a traffic stop and the driver which revealed that the driver only had a driving permit but did not have a license or proof of insurance. <\/span>The driver was cited.<\/span><\/p>\n
