Vehicle Violation \u2013 Suspended Driver\u2019s License \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 11:08 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 19th Ave & Denslowe Dr<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n A sergeant observed a vehicle speeding on 19th Ave. The sergeant used his LIDAR and determined that the driver was traveling at 72 mph in a 35 mph zone. The sergeant made contact with the driver and was told that the passenger was pregnant and in labor. The sergeant spoke with the passenger, who did not appear to be in distress or pregnant. The sergeant called for an ambulance and the passenger was inspected by the medic. The medic determined that the passenger was not pregnant but under the influence of alcohol or drugs. A\u00a0<\/span>computer check of the driver revealed his license was suspended. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Burglary Arrest \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n 2500 17th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n After an investigation of a church rectory burglary, a suspect was identified through finger printing and his information was passed out to officers. While on patrol, a unit located the suspect standing in front of a restaurant. The officers made contact with the suspect and the suspect was arrested.<\/span> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\n 11:36 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers were on patrol and observed the suspect staring intently into parked vehicles as he walked around the street corner. As the officers drove closer to the suspect, the suspect immediately noticed them and started to quickly walk away. The officers detained the suspect, who was on probation. A search of the suspect’s bag revealed a spark plug, window punches and<\/span>\u00a0methamphetamine.\u00a0The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
