Burglry of A Store \u2013 Robbery with Force \u2013 Possession of Burglary Tools \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 9:17 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n 3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The witness, a Loss Prevention agent, reported that the suspect was observed, yesterday, acting suspicious while inside the store. When the suspect returned the following day, the suspect had a backpack, shopping bag and luggage with him. The suspect then selected multiple items of store merchandise and entered an elevator. When the suspect exited the elevator a short time later, none of the merchandise were in sight. \u00a0The suspect then immediately attempted to leave the store. Store employees successfully detained the suspect, despite the suspect attempting to flee while kicking and biting the employees. An investigation determined that the suspect was in possession of over $2800 dollars of stolen merchandise. It was also revealed that the suspect’s bags were lined with foil in an attempt to defeat the store’s security systems.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n The victim entered Taraval Station to report a battery. The victim stated that he had just finished at the gym and was driving away when a van stopped in front of him. The victim honked his horn at the van after waiting for it to move. The suspect exited the van and confronted the victim before getting back into his vehicle and driving a short distance before stopping again. The victim honked his horn a second time at the van and the suspect confronted the victim again but also pushed the victim’s hand away out of the way and pepper sprayed him. The suspect then fled the area. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
