\nOfficers were conducting LIDAR enforcement when they observed a speeding vehicle. The officers used their LIDAR and confirmed that the vehicle was traveling at 56 mph in a 35 mph zone. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he was never issued a driver\u2019s license. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Attempted Robbery of a Residence<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\nOfficers responded to a report of a person breaking into a house. The victim reported that he had opened his garage door to retrieve a newspaper while the suspect was walking by. The suspect suddenly ran up to the garage door and attempted to push the door open and demanded money from the victim. The victim responded that he did not have any money and the suspect picked up a chair and threatened the victim with it. The victim again responded that he did not have any money. The suspect then put down the chair and walked way to a waiting vehicle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\nOfficers responded to a report of a fight. The victim reported that he and the suspect were texting each other earlier and had an argument. Later, while the victim was outside, the suspect drove his car directly at the victim and struck the victim. The suspect then exited his vehicle and swung at the victim with a golf club. The victim reported that he was not hurt from assault by the suspect. Responding officers arrived and detained the suspect. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
