The witness reported that the suspect was observed stealing money from the store&#8217;s tip jar. The witness attempted to detain the suspect but the suspect fled the store. Responding officers searched and located the suspect and the tip money that had been stolen. A computer check on the suspect revealed an arrest warrant.
