Traffic Violation \u2013 Suspended License \u2013 Cited<\/strong><\/span>

\n19th Ave & Denslowe Dr<\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers were on patrol and observed a speeding vehicle. The officers, using LIDAR, marked the vehicle at traveling 47 mph. The officers conducted a traffic stop and requested the driver\u2019s license and insurance. The driver stated that his license had been suspended, which was later confirmed by a computer check. The driver was cited.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Attempted Robbery \u2013 Assault<\/strong><\/span>
\n11:10 pm<\/strong><\/span>
\n1700 Irving St<\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a robbery. The victims reported that they had been walking when the suspects approached them from behind and pulled the first victim’s purse. The suspects then punched the second victim, who had been attempting to help the first victim, before fleeing the area. The second victim stated that he saw a gun inside one of the suspect’s waistband during the incident.<\/span><\/p>\n
