Assault \u2013 Shooting into a Dwelling or Vehicle<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\nOfficers responded to a report of shots being fired. Officers located the crime scene and found numerous\u00a0cartridge casings and associated damage to nearby buildings. The victim told the officers that he had been walking when an unknown person started shooting at him. The victim then transported himself to a hospital for treatment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\nOfficers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that he had told two suspects, who were sitting in a vehicle, to stop smoking marijuana. The suspects responded angrily and confronted the victim with one suspect recording the victim with his cell phone. The victim attempted to walked away but was challenged to a fight after being tapped on the head with the suspect’s cell phone. The victim contacted the police and the suspects left the area. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
