Traffic Violation \u2013 No License Issued \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\nSunset Blvd & Irving St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers were on patrol and observed a vehicle making a turn without signaling. The officers conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver and observed a strong scent of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Looking into the vehicle, the officers observed that there was marijuana out in the open. A search located an illegal switch blade. <\/span>After further investigation, <\/span>the officers cited the driver.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nA school resource officer was conducting traffic control when a vehicle was observed driving in the wrong lane of traffic and conducted a traffic stop. A computer check of the vehicle revealed that the driver’s license had expired and the driver was cited. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nLawton St & Funston Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers were on patrol in the area when there was a sudden sound of an accelerating car engine, in which a vehicle proceeded to speed through an intersection without slowing down or stopping at the crosswalk. <\/span>\u00a0The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended and that there was an active warrant from Davis for his arrest.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The driver was arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n
