Robbery – Update<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\nAfter further investigation into two recent robbery incidents that happened in our district and in the Park district, the occupants of the vehicle involved were identified and located in Pittsburgh, California. The vehicle, identified by security footage, was towed<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Traffic Violation \u2013 No License Issued \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\nGreat Hwy & Sloat Blvd<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers were on patrol in the area when they observed a vehicle with an expired registration. Responding officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that her license had been expired since 2008. A computer check also revealed that the driver had been cited numerous times.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The driver was cited and the vehicle was towed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Battery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n4:33 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nTaraval St & 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers were on patrol and responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that he was walking on a sidewalk when it narrowed and he stepped aside to let the suspect walk past him. The suspect suddenly pushed the victim and the victim fell to the ground. The suspect walked away after the incident.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Assault \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n100 Majestic Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to an assault. The victims reported that they and a family member, the suspect, had an argument that led to a physical assault. The victim stated that suspect pushed the two victims, one of them an elder, and threw a vase at them. Responding officers located the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
