Robbery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\nOfficers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that she had been standing on a MUNI platform and waiting for the MUNI when a vehicle suddenly pulled up to her and the passenger got out of the car near her. The suspect then wordlessly pepper sprayed the victim in her eyes and took the victim’s grocery bags away from her before fleeing the area. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\n00 West Portal Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers were on patrol in the area when they were approached by the witness, who reported that the suspect had just assaulted her husband. The husband, the victim, stated that the suspect had been walking by and suddenly pushed him in the chest and caused him to fall to the ground. The officers successfully located and detained the suspect but the victim declined to press charges. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Carjacking \u2013 Assault<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\nWest Portal Ave & Vicente St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a fight. The victim stated that he had been double parked in front of the Starbucks while waiting for someone when the suspect suddenly appeared and brandished a hypodermic needle at him and threatened to steal the victim’s car. The victim defended himself and prevented the suspect from entering his vehicle. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
