Traffic Violation \u2013 Resisting Arrest \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\nOfficers were on patrol and observed a suspect riding a bicycle on the sidewalk, despite numerous signs posted nearby that forbid such an activity. The officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop but the bicyclist fled immediately. The officers pursued the suspect and caught up to him as he was attempting to destroy a glass pipe, which is something commonly used to smoke methamphetamine.<\/span>\u00a0After further investigation, <\/span>the bicyclist was cited.<\/span><\/p>\n

Warrant Arrest \u2013 Shoplifting \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n200 West Portal Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a suspect who had shoplifted from a store. Responding officers arrived at the store and an immediate search for the suspect was unsuccessful. However, after an hour later, the officers located and detained the suspect. A search of the suspect revealed the stolen merchandise still in the suspect’s possession<\/span>. A computer check on the suspect also revealed a warrant for his arrest. <\/span>The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n
