Battery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n24th Ave & Quintara St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a battery. The victim, who appeared to be intoxicated, told the officers that a suspect had approached him and asked him why he was looking at him. The suspect then punched the victim numerous times before fleeing the area.<\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n11:30 am<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n1600 36th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim stated that he had been walking his dog when the suspect became friendly towards his dog. Shortly after, the suspect suddenly attempted to take the dog’s leash from the victim. The suspect then punched the victim on his face and took the dog away from the victim. A nearby witness confronted the suspect and rescued the dog.\u00a0<\/span>Responding officers located the suspect, who appeared intoxicated, and exited the patrol car to make contact with him. However, the suspect walked towards the officers and attempted to punch one of the officers. The suspect refused to comply to instructions and pepper spray was deployed before the suspect was detained. \u00a0<\/span>After further investigation, <\/span>the suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n00 West Portal Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of threats. The witness reported that he had received information from a passenger that the suspect had been threatening people on a MUNI train and that the victim was not on scene. Responding officers located and detained the suspect. A computer check revealed an arrest warrant.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n
