Attempted Robbery \u2013 Arrested\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n2200 Irving St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that she had just gotten off of work when the suspect suspiciously asked to use her phone. The victim believed that the suspect was going to take her property and started to record the incident when the suspect suddenly reached out and pulled on her purse. The victim retained her purse with the help of a witness and the suspect immediately fled the area. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Attempted Homicide \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n9:26 pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n19th Ave & Sloat Blvd<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a suspect with a knife. The victim reported that he was on his scooter on the sidewalk when the suspect suddenly brandished a knife and attempted to stab him with it. The victim reported that the suspect was sweating profusely and that he crossed the street to get away from the suspect. Responding officers located the suspect and detained him. A search of the suspect revealed a switchblade. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a battery. The victim, a worker at a restaurant, reported that the suspect had knocked on the back door to gain entry to the restaurant while saying that he wanted to fix something inside. The victim responded that the suspect needed to use the front door to enter. At the front door, the suspect was unable to provide an ID or information and hit the victim with a binder before immediately fleeing the area. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
