Traffic Violation \u2013 Suspended Driver\u2019s License \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\nIrving St & 19th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers were on patrol in the area when they observed a vehicle with an expired registration tab. The officers conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver. The driver was unable to produce his driver’s license or proof of insurance. A computer check revealed that the driver’s license had been suspended and the driver had a history of citations for driving with a suspended license. <\/span>The driver was cited<\/span> and his vehicle was towed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Battery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n1000 Irving St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a battery. The victim, a Parking and Traffic officer, was in the area enforcing illegal parking and parking meter enforcement when a vehicle parked nearby with the passengers exiting it to move a couch. The victim reminded the passengers that they had to pay for the parking but they did not make an attempt to do so. A short time later, due to the suspect’s non payment, the victim started to write a ticket. The suspect responded angrily and hit the victim in the chest. Responding officers located the suspect and after further investigation, the <\/span>suspect was cited.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vandalism \u2013 Trespassing \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n2600 Judah St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a disturbance inside a restaurant. The victim reported that the suspect had entered the restaurant and began to demand alcohol. \u00a0The victim told the suspect to leave but the suspect refused and angrily yelled at the restaurant’s customers. The suspect then kicked and punched a nearby wall, causing damages. Responding officers located and detained the suspect. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
