Suspended Driver\u2019s License \u2013 Traffic Violation \u2013 Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\nOfficers were conducting speed enforcement and observed a vehicle traveling at 48mph in a 30mph zone. The officers conducted a traffic stop and computer check on the vehicle revealed that the driver’s license had been suspended.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The driver was cited.<\/span><\/p>\n

Assault – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n1700 33rd Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report <\/span>of an assault. The witness and victim reported that the suspect, who had been out drinking, had recently returned home and suddenly started an argument with the victim. During the argument, the suspect punched the victim and attempted to cut the victim with a knife. The witness intervened and the suspect dropped the knife. The victim suffered from bruises and cuts from the incident. The witness believes that the suspect may have ingested illegal drugs during their outing. After further investigation, the<\/span>\u00a0suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n

Attempted Homicide – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n1800 40th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a stabbing. The victim reported that his friend, the suspect, had stabbed him. A witness, who did not see the stabbing, stated that the victim and suspect had been drinking when a fight started. The victim suffered from a large laceration to his stomach area and from cuts to his fingers. Responding officers located the suspect and after further investigation,<\/span> the suspect was arrested.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
