Warrant Arrest \u2013 Delaying Officers Duties \u2013 Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\nOfficers were on patrol in the area when they observed a suspect littering on the sidewalk. The officers approached the suspect and made contact with him. Despite being initially given a false name, the officers identified the suspect and a computer search revealed two arrest warrants.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The suspect was arrested.<\/span><\/p>\n

Assault<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\nOfficers responded to a report of an assault. The victim reported that he had been in an argument with his sister concerning the care of his nephew before she exited the room and went outside. Afterwards, the suspect walked into the room and punched the victim and used a miniature bat to hit the victim for his argument with the victim’s sister. The suspect then walked away.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Battery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n3200 Ortega St<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that the suspect, a juvenile that had been previously banned from the library for throwing items at patrons and yelling, was observed entering the library. The victim asked the suspect to leave but he refused and threw a large book at the victim, which struck her face. The suspect then stated that if the library called the police, he would fight with them. The suspect then walked away.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\nOne incident of domestic violence; the\u00a0suspect was arrested.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
