Battery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n600 Sloat Blvd<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that she remembers that she had met the suspect while they were taking items from a nearby junk truck and ended up smoking some illegal drugs with the suspect. The victim stated that the next thing she remembered was waking up on the ground with her property broken and believes that she was in a fight with the suspect.<\/span><\/p>\n

Robbery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n3200 20th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that he had been sitting in front of a store at a shopping mall with his cell phone when a group of suspects suddenly \u00a0surrounded him. \u00a0One of the suspects snatched the phone away from the victim and exited the mall with it. The victim attempted to follow the suspects but they pushed him on to the ground and attacked him by punching and kicking him. The suspects then immediately fled the area. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Burglary – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n1:13pm<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n1300 17th Ave<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a burglary. The witness reported that he had heard loud music from the house next door and then observed the suspect exiting the house, despite that it was a vacation rental and supposed to be empty. Responding officers searched the location, which was empty but showed signs of being recently occupied. A window with broken glass was also located. The officers located and detained the suspect, who claimed that he was the owner of the house, when he returned to the house. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
