The victim, a store employee, reported that the suspect was observed entering the store and selecting a container of beverage from the shelf before opening and immediately drinking from it. The suspect then exited the store without paying for the beverage. The victim attempted to stop the suspect from exiting the store but the suspect threw the empty beverage bottle at the victim, which hit her.
