Assault – Threats – Arrested<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\nThe victim reported that the suspect, an upstairs neighbor, had his window open and the TV on very loud. The victim yelled out to ask the suspect to quiet down but did not receive a response. The victim used a broom handle to knock on the suspect’s window which prompted an argument with the suspect. During the argument, the suspect pointed a gun at the victim and threatened him. Responding officers arrived at the location and detained the suspect. A search also located the gun as reported by the victim. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nOfficers were on patrol in the area when they heard a large group of motorists gathering. An investigation revealed that approximately 50 vehicles had blocked a nearby intersection with some vehicles attempting to do stunts in an unsafe manner. Additional officers responded and the group dispersed without incident.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Possession of Stolen Property \u2013 Methamphetamine Offense – Cited<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n1556 Great Hwy<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nThe victim reported that his speakers, which were stolen yesterday and thrown on to a roof of a building afterwards, had been taken by the suspect. The victim confronted the suspect, who had climb on to the roof of the building to retrieve the speakers, and demanded his property back. The suspect refused and brandished a handgun at the victim. Responding officers located the suspect and detained him. A search revealed the speakers and methamphetamine in the suspect’s possession. After further investigation, it was determined that the gun was a BB gun.\u00a0<\/span>The suspect was cited.<\/span><\/p>\n
