\nOfficers responded to a report of a hate crime. The victim reported that the suspect had approached her while not wearing a protective mask. The victim requested that the suspect wear a mask, which prompted the suspect to respond angrily and in a threatening manner. Fearfully, the victim retreated back inside her house. When the victim later exited her house, she discovered a note stating that Asians had created the virus and that a mask would be worn only if the person wanted to do so. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
