Robbery<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\nOfficers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim, a taxi driver, reported that he had picked the suspects to drive them to Rodeo, California and was told by his company to have them pay for the ride first. The victim drove the suspects to the bank first and instructed that one of the suspects had to stay in the vehicle. Shortly afterwards, the victim heard a sound of a spray can and was pepper sprayed by the remaining suspect. The suspect then took the victim’s bag and fled the area.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe victim reported that the suspect, the boyfriend of his girlfriend’s sister, had a<\/span>rrived at their home and claimed that the victim had damaged the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect then punched the victim before choking him. The victim’s girlfriend attempted to call for help but the suspect took the phone away from her and damaged it. Responding officers arrived at the location and detained the suspect. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
