He stated that an unknown suspect stole several items from his spouse. The next morning, the man found his spouse\u2019s personal belongings in their mailbox.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residential Burglary \u2013 Unlawful Entry<br \/>\n9:24pm<br \/>\n1000 8th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a residential burglary with forcible entry. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers met a man who stated that he returned home to discover that an unknown suspect ransacked his bedroom. The officers determined the point of entry was the sliding glass window in the bathroom. The man believes that the unknown suspect might have entered his home after the garbage was collected for the day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residential Burglary \u2013 Forcible Entry<br \/>\n10:57pm<br \/>\n2000 46th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nAn officer responded to a residential burglary with forcible entry. Upon arrival at the scene, the officer met a man who stated earlier he noticed that someone tampered with his home\u2019s front gate lock. When the man went inside his home, he discovered that a few of his personal belongings were missing. The man believes that the suspects are prior associates who on several past occasions burglarized his home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft \u2013 False Pretenses<br \/>\n12:00pm<br \/>\n2000 38th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nA woman came into Taraval Station to file a fraud report. The woman stated to the officer that an unknown suspect called her claiming to be her nephew. The suspect told the woman while driving that he rear ended a vehicle, and he needed money from her to cover fees for the accident. The woman purchased cards with money and gave the number on the back of the cards to the suspect. When the woman later met her nephew, he stated that he was not involved in any vehicle accident.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft \u2013 Warrant Arrest<br \/>\n3:13pm<br \/>\n1000 Irving St<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a theft. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers met a loss prevention agent who stated that he saw a man stealing store merchandise. When the loss prevention agent observed the suspect exit the store without making an attempt to pay for the store merchandise on him, the agent detained the suspect. The officers ran a computer check that revealed several warrants for the suspect. <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">The officers booked the suspect.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft from Building<br \/>\n8:33pm<br \/>\n2000 Irving St<\/strong><br \/>\nA woman came into Taraval Station to report a theft from a building. The woman stated to the officer that while she was shopping, she left her purse in her shopping cart. The woman took her eyes off the shopping cart, and turned around to discover that an unknown suspect took her purse. The woman did not see any suspects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft from Unlocked Vehicle<\/strong><br \/>\n10:39am\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a02000 24th Ave\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2005 Silver Lexus 470<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft from Locked Vehicle<\/strong><br \/>\n5:06pm\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 3000 20th Ave 2014\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Gray Hyundai Tucson<\/p>\n<p><strong>Malicious Mischief \u2013 Graffiti<br \/>\n2:19am<br \/>\n800 Irving St<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a malicious mischief incident involving graffiti. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers met a man who stated that he observed an unknown suspect spray painting a building. The man stated that he knew the graffiti was new because the walls were bare prior to the suspect\u2019s arrival.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Suspect: White male, 6\u20190\u201d, 18-25 years old, 160 lbs, brown hair. LSW: A brown hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Miscellaneous Investigation<br \/>\n8:00am<br \/>\n12th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a complaint call of dogs off leash at a park. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers met a man who showed the \u201cNo dog off leash\u201d signs posted inside the park. The man then pointed out the three dogs off leash in the park. The two owners of the three dogs leashed their dogs as soon as they saw the officers. The officers cited the two owners and released them at the scene.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Suspicious Occurrence<br \/>\n10:05pm<br \/>\n9th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nA woman came into Taraval Station to report a suspicious occurrence. The woman stated to the officer that the suspect is very possessive of the parking spaces in front of her home. When the woman\u2019s spouse parked in front of the suspect\u2019s home, the suspect left a noted on his vehicle. The woman believes that the suspect was responsible for a past vehicle vandalism incident.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Driving with a Suspended License, No Proof of Insurance, and a Nonfunctioning Brake Light &#8211; Cited<br \/>\n8:06am<br \/>\nOrizaba Ave and Minerva<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers observed a vehicle\u2019s stop lamp not functioning when it slowed down several times. The officers conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle and identified the driver. The driver was unable to provide proof of insurance. The woman stated to the officers that after she reported an incident involving the suspect, the suspect was upset and sent her numerous texts. The officer advised the woman to change her phone number and informed her of obtaining a restraining order.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residential Burglary \u2013 Forcible Entry<br \/>\n3:14pm<br \/>\n2000 46th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a residential burglary with forcible entry. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers met a man who stated that he returned home to discover that an unknown suspect opened his front gate and front door. The man believes that the unknown suspect climbed over the front gate and pried opened the front door. Several personal belongings were missing from his home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residential Burglary \u2013 Forcible Entry<br \/>\n10:37pm<br \/>\n1000 29th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a residential burglary with forcible entry. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers met a man who stated that he returned to his home to discover that an unknown suspect(s) pried open the front metal gate lock. The man also found the second story window slid open, and the window screen was moved. When he looked around his home, he discovered that the unknown suspect ransacked a few rooms. The officers determined the point of entry was through the second story window, and the point of exit was through the front door.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft from Person<br \/>\n2:14am<br \/>\n19th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a theft. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers met one of the victims who stated that the suspect fled the scene. The officers then spoke both victims who stated as they were waiting at the bus stop; an unknown suspect approached them and grabbed a personal belonging from them. The victims chased the unknown suspect, but gave up. When they returned to the bus stop, they discovered that one of their bags containing several items was missing. When the victims asked people at the bus stop if they were involved, an unknown suspect displayed an unknown handgun on him. The suspect then fled the scene.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Suspect 1: Hispanic male, 5\u201910\u201d, 18-25 years old, 200 lbs, black hair. Displayed unknown handgun in waistband.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft \u2013 False Pretenses<br \/>\n3:30pm<br \/>\n1000 Quintara St<\/strong><br \/>\nA woman came into Taraval Station to report a theft. The woman stated to the officer that she met a man who claimed that he was on the verge of a huge discovery and need funding. The woman agreed to wire the man money. For several months, the woman continued to wire the man money in exchange for a share of future profits. When the man asked her to send more money to purchase a certificate, her bank notified her that there was no such certificate and that she was a victim of theft.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Malicious Mischief \u2013 Vandalism to Property<br \/>\n3:19pm<br \/>\n100 Taraval St<\/strong><br \/>\nAn officer responded to vandalism to property incident. Upon arrival at the scene, the officer spoke with the tenant who stated that when she returned home, she was unable to unlock the front door with a key. The woman noticed that there was an unknown substance inside the door lock. The woman believes that the tenant is a possible suspect because he is attempting to evict her.<\/p>\n<p><strong>False Personation to Receive Money of Property<br \/>\n4:07pm<br \/>\n2000 Taraval St<\/strong><br \/>\nA man came into Taraval Station to report fraud. The man stated to the officer that his bank notified him that a bill pay account was successfully created without his permission. The unknown suspect obtained his account information, and transferred money from his account to the bill pay account. The suspect then used the funds to pay his bill.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Suspicious Occurrence<br \/>\n8:48pm<br \/>\n2000 34th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nA man came into Taraval Station to report a suspicious occurrence. The man stated to the officer that he was seeking a new roommate. When he found a substitute roommate, he contacted the man and gave him the key. However, one of his other roommates later decided that the new roommate could not be trusted. The new substitute roommate was upset and texted him stating that maybe he is the one that should leave.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Driving without a License \u2013 Driving without a Front Plate &#8211; Cited<br \/>\n2:45pm<br \/>\n27th Ave and Taraval<\/strong><br \/>\nAn officer observed a man speaking on a cell phone while driving in a vehicle missing the front license plate. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver. A computer check revealed that the man did not have a license issued to him. <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">The officer cited the man for driving without a license and driving without a front license plate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>SATURDAY, MAY 24, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Robbery with a Gun<br \/>\n10:50pm<br \/>\n14th Ave &amp; West Portal Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers were dispatched to West Portal regarding a robbery report. Upon arriving to the scene the officers were met by a man who stated that he was waiting for a MUNI LRV when an unknown male approached him and pointed a gun at him. The suspect then demanded the man\u2019s belongings, then the MUNI LRV arrived at the stop and the unknown male got on board.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft \u2013 Shoplifting<br \/>\n4:14pm<br \/>\n200 West Portal Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to the scene regarding a theft from a store. Upon arriving to the scene the officers were met by a woman who stated that she observed an unknown female who entered the store with two bags. The unknown female walked up to the second floor of the store. While the woman was downstairs she heard a lot of noise coming from the second floor. The suspect then walked back downstairs, left the store and got on board a MUNI LRV. When the woman was done assisting another customer in the store, she walked upstairs to check for any damages and discovered that two items were missing from the shelves.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Suspect: Black Female, 5\u20191\u201d, 100lbs, between the ages of 35 \u2013 45 years old, black hair, LSW: red and blue sweater, tight black jeans, and black boots, has short corn rows.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Malicious Mischief \u2013 Vandalism to Vehicle<br \/>\n2:16pm<br \/>\n100 Tara St<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a call regarding a vandalism report. Upon arriving to the scene the officers were met by a man who stated that his vehicle was keyed. The man parked his vehicle outside in good condition and upon coming back to the car he discovered that an unknown suspect had made a 2\u2019 scrape mark in a horizontal line and scribble marks across the trunk.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Malicious Mischief \u2013 Vandalism to Vehicle<br \/>\n7:37pm<br \/>\n700 Quintara St<\/strong><br \/>\nA man came to Taraval Station to report vandalism to his vehicle. The man stated that he parked and locked his vehicle in front of his home. Upon returning to his vehicle the next day he discovered that an unknown suspect jumped on the roof of his vehicle and made a dent with their foot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft from Unlocked Vehicle<\/strong><br \/>\n10:05am\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 200 Brentwood Ave\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2005 White Toyota Sienna<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stolen Vehicle<\/strong><br \/>\n1:59pm\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 400 Holloway Ave\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2003 Black Cadillac Escalade<\/p>\n<p><strong>SUNDAY, MAY 25, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Attempted Robbery with Force \u2013 Defrauding a Taxi Driver<br \/>\n12:57am<br \/>\n00 Majestic Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to the scene regarding a possible robbery in progress. Upon arriving to the scene the officers were met by a man who stated that he picked up two unknown males in his taxi cab and drove them to the location they wanted. After arriving to their destination one of the suspects attempted to pay with a debit card but it was declined and the man requested another form of payment. At that moment the first suspect punched the man in the head two times with a closed fist and demanded the man\u2019s money. The man was able to get away and the second suspect exited the vehicle and walked away with the other suspect in an unknown direction.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Suspect 1: Black Male. 5\u20198\u201d, 165 lbs, between the ages of 20 \u2013 25 years old, black hair, LSW: black and red checkered shirt, black pants, has short dreadlocks.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Suspect 2: Black Male, 5\u201911\u201d, 165 lbs, between the ages of 20 \u2013 25 years old, black hair, LSW: black jacket and black pants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Embezzlement \u2013 Petty Theft<br \/>\n12:56pm<br \/>\n900 Junipero Serra Blvd<\/strong><br \/>\nA man came to Taraval Station to report embezzlement of property. The man stated he dropped off a item to the suspect who runs a business from his home. The man brought over the item because the suspect said he can fix the item for a cheap price. The suspect told the man it would take a couple of days. The supect no longer made contact with the man after receving his property.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Driving with No Brake Lights \u2013 Expired Registration \u2013 Driving with a Suspended License &#8211; Cited<br \/>\n6:00pm<br \/>\n19th Ave &amp; Sloat Blvd<\/strong><br \/>\nAn officer in full uniform and driving a marked police vehicle observed a vehicle with expired registration tabs and after running a computer check it to confirm that the vehicles registration was expired. The officer also observed that the vehicle did not have any working brake lights. The officer effected a traffic stop and made contact with the driver. The officer conducted a computer check on the driver through his license number and discovered that his license was suspended. <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">The driver was cited for driving with no brake lights, driving with expired registration and driving with a suspended license.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft from Locked Vehicle<\/strong><br \/>\n12:01pm\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 23rd Ave &amp; Ocean Ave 2012\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Black Mercedes Benz C250<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft from Unlocked Vehicle<\/strong><br \/>\n1:13pm\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a01400 8th Ave\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 2014\u00a0Red Kia Sorento<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recovered Vehicle<\/strong><br \/>\n12:48pm\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a01300 Irving St\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2003 Red Honda<\/p>\n<p><strong>MONDAY, MAY 26, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Burglary &#8211; Possession of Burglary tools \u2013 Probation Violation \u2013 Cited<br \/>\n12:46pm<br \/>\n300 Winston Dr<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a commercial burglary with unlawful entry. Officer met with a Loss Prevention Agent that stated that he was alerted of a suspicious male. The Loss Prevention Agent observed the suspect for some time and saw that he concealed store merchandise. The suspect then walked by several cash registers with no intention to pay and headed towards the exit. The agent then approached the suspect outside of the store and identified himself and he detained the suspect. While conducting the pat down, the Loss Prevention Agent retrieved store merchandise and burglary tools. A computer query revealed that suspect is currently on felony probation. <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">The officers booked the suspect at Taraval Station for burglary and violation of his probation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft From Locked Vehicle<\/strong><br \/>\n3:00pm\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Junipero Serra Blvd\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2011 Red Ford Fusion<\/p>\n<p><strong>Malicious \u2013 Mischief \u2013 Vandalism to Property<br \/>\n1:36pm<br \/>\n1300 11th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a vandalism incident. Officer met with residents who reported hearing noises hitting parts of the building. Residents believe that the unknown suspect used a slingshot and marbles to vandalize the building.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Malicious \u2013 Mischief \u2013 Vandalism to Property<br \/>\n4:52pm<br \/>\n100 Shields St<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to residential vandalism incident. The residents showed the officers the location where liquid have been poured in front of the residence. The resident believes that the liquid is a form of oil.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Suspicious Person<br \/>\n10:10am<br \/>\n2300 24Th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers met with a woman at Taraval station. The woman reported being followed from various locations by an unknown individual and was then approached while she was on public transportation. During the ride she was also verbally harassed by the individual.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Driving With a Suspended License &#8211; Cited<br \/>\n5:15pm<br \/>\nSunset Blvd &amp; Yorba St<\/strong><br \/>\nAn officer observed a vehicle driving above the posted speed limit. The officer conducted a traffic stop and conducted a computer query on the driver. The search revealed that the driver was driving with a suspended driver\u2019s license. <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">The officer cited driver for speeding and for driving with a suspended driver\u2019s license.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Driving With an Expired Driver\u2019s License &#8211; Cited<br \/>\n2:50pm<br \/>\n00 Vicente St<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficer observed a vehicle driving with a non-functional light. The officer conducted a traffic stop and conducted a computer query on the driver. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers met a man who stated that earlier he withdrawn money from his bank. As the man was walking with the money in his pockets, an unknown suspect stopped in front of him and brandished a gun. The unknown suspect pointed the gun at the man and ordered him to give the suspect all his money. Upon arrival at the scene, the officer met a woman who stated that when she returned home, she observed that the front window and door were open. The woman discovered that the unknown suspect stole a few of her personal belongings. Upon arrival at the scene, the officer met the owner of the building. He stated that for several weeks the unknown suspect entered the store and stole a numerous amount of store merchandises. On multiple occasions during the past several months, the unknown suspect shows up at the man\u2019s house and yells at him. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers met a man who stated that an unknown suspect broke one of the windows to his store. The suspect then entered the store and knocked over store merchandise. When he went to the bank, he discovered that the suspect stole his checks, forged his signature, and made payments to himself.
