Upon arrival to the scene, the officers met with the victim who stated that someone stole her personal belongings while she went out momentarily. She stated that she left the front door closed, but unlocked. The officers called CSI and took pictures of the scene. The victim was given a follow up form, Marcy\u2019s card, and an additional loss property form. The officers booked the evidence at the Taraval station.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Commercial Burglary \u2013 Unlawful Entry<br \/>\n10:12am<br \/>\n3000 20th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nAn officer responded to a report of burglary at a department store. Upon arrival to the scene, the officer met with the store manager. The manager stated that employees saw four suspects go to a certain section of the store and then run out. The manager determined the items that were stolen and informed the officer. The officer provided a search of the area for the suspects with no result.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Suspect 1: African American, Male, 5\u201910\u201d, between 18-22 years old, 150 lbs., with black hair. LSW: Wearing a black\/red hoodie and blue jeans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Residential Burglary \u2013 Forcible Entry<br \/>\n11:01am<br \/>\n1000 Lawton St<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a report of burglary. Upon arrival to the scene, the officers met the victim, which stated that an unknown suspect broke into her garage and stole her personal belongings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residential Burglary \u2013 Forcible Entry<br \/>\n7:55pm<br \/>\n100 Ortega St<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a report of burglary. Upon arrival to the scene, the officers met the victim, which stated that an unknown suspect stole multiple personal belongings. The officers determined the point of entry and exit was through the front door.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warrant Arrest<br \/>\n1:27pm<br \/>\nPlymouth Ave and Broad St<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers were on patrol in a police vehicle. They observed an individual who they knew from previous contacts and were notified that the individual had a no bail warrant for his arrest. The officers intercepted the individual and placed him in handcuffs. <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Upon confirmation of his warrant, the officers placed him under arrest and transported him to the Taraval station for booking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft \u2013 Shoplifting &#8211; Cited<br \/>\n5:28pm 3000<br \/>\n20th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a report of theft at a department store. Upon arrival to the scene, they met with a loss prevention associate. The loss prevention associate stated to the officers that he observed a suspect with multiple items walk out of the store without making any attempt to pay for the items. Upon arrival to the scene the officer met with the victim. The victim stated that he parked his car on his lot and in the morning noticed damage to the rear of his vehicle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nonfunctional Vehicle Tail light\u2013 Driver with No Issued Drivers License &#8211; Cited<br \/>\n10:55pm<br \/>\n19th Ave and Winston<\/strong><br \/>\nAn officer noticed a vehicle with a nonfunctional passenger side tail lamp and stop lamp, while on patrol. The officer conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver through a computer check. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers met a woman who stated that as she and her housemate were getting ready to move out of their residence, they got into a verbal argument. Her housemate made statements threatening to hurt and kill her. The woman stated to the officers that the statements placed her in immediate fear for her life.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residential Burglary \u2013 Forcible Entry<br \/>\n11:53am<br \/>\n2000 23rd Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a residential burglary with forcible entry. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers met a woman who stated that when she returned home, she noticed that an unknown suspect had shattered a window and opened the back door. Nothing in the woman\u2019s home was rummaged through. After the officers did a walkthrough of the house, they determined the point of entry to be through the shattered window, and the point of exit to be through the rear door. The woman also stated that an unknown suspect was stealing her mail, opening multiple credit cards in her name, and taking money from her bank account.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residential Burglary \u2013 Safe \u2013 Arrest<br \/>\n12:45pm<br \/>\n400 Arch St<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a residential burglary. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers met a man who stated that after he left his residence, a neighbor called him about a suspect who was trying to steal his safe. The man immediately drove home. He found his safe lying on the floor, bedroom door opened, and bedroom window opened. As the officers spoke to the man, the suspect walked out of the victim\u2019s room. <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">The officers stopped and booked the suspect for burglary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft from Building<br \/>\n2:20am<br \/>\n3000 Noriega St<\/strong><br \/>\nA woman came into Taraval Station to report a theft from a building. The woman stated to the officer that when she went to the restroom of a restaurant, she placed her phone down at the counter. However, she forgot to take her phone with her when she exited the restroom. When she realized she what she did and went to retrieve her phone, she discovered that it was missing from the bathroom.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft<br \/>\n12:40pm<br \/>\n1000 Sloat Blvd<\/strong><br \/>\nA woman came into Taraval Station to report a theft. The woman stated to the officer that she left her personal belongings in a grocery cart as she was loading her groceries into her vehicle. After she finished, she returned to her grocery car to discover her purse missing. The woman did not see any suspects in the area where the theft occurred.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft from Building<br \/>\n5:00pm<br \/>\n1000 Ocean Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nAn officer responded to a theft from a building. Upon arrival at the scene, the officer met a woman who stated earlier she placed her personal belongings into a locker. She then locked the pad lock on the locker and left. When the woman later opened the locker, she discovered her personal belongings missing. The woman did not see anyone take her personal belongings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft from Building<br \/>\n5:43pm<br \/>\n300 Arballo Dr<\/strong><br \/>\nAn officer responded to a theft from a building. Upon arrival at the scene, the officer met a woman who stated that as she was moving items from her residence, she left a personal belonging in the lobby area. Upon arrival at the scene, the officer noticed a broken window on the side of the building. The owner of the building arrived on scene and told the officer that nothing appears missing from the building.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Suspect: White male, 6\u20190\u201d, 20 years old. LSW: Black shirt, black baseball cap, blue jeans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Malicious Mischief \u2013 Graffiti \u2013 Muni<br \/>\n8:55pm<br \/>\n46th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a graffiti incident. Upon arrival at the scene, the officer met two men who stated that earlier they observed two unknown suspects spraying graffiti on the MUNI bus stop. The unknown suspects appeared to be intoxicated. One of the men took the spray paint cans from the unknown suspects and told them to leave. The unknown suspects fled the scene.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Suspect 1: Hispanic male, 5\u20199\u201d, 20-30 years old, 180 lbs. LSW: Light colored hooded sweatshirt, goatee.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Suspect 2: Hispanic male, 5\u20198, 20-30 Years old, 195 lbs. LSW: Black hooded sweatshirt, black leather jacket, dark low riding pants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fraudulent Game or Trick to Obtain Money or Property<br \/>\n2:18pm<br \/>\n1000 24th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a fraud. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers met a woman who stated that an unknown suspect contacted her claiming to be her grandson. The unknown suspect told her that an officer arrested him, and he needed money for bail. The woman then spoke to another unknown suspect who claimed to be the officer of her arrested grandson. He told her to buy cards with money to pay for the bail. The woman purchased five cards with money. She called the unknown suspect claiming to be an officer and read to him the numbers on the back of each card. When the woman later called her grandson, he told her that earlier he did not speak to her.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Suspicious Occurrence<br \/>\n9:00am<br \/>\n2000 24th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nA man came into Taraval Station to request a report. The man stated to the officer that one of his tenants found a letter that an unknown suspect left at the home. The letter claimed that the home was being used as a brothel. The man stated that there is not merit to his home being used as a brothel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Driving With a Suspended License \u2013 Failing to Obey a Posted Sign \u2013 Cited<br \/>\n11:12pm<br \/>\n19th Ave and Irving St<\/strong><br \/>\nAn officer observed a driver in a vehicle failing to obey a posted sign. The officer contacted the driver of the vehicle and identified him. A computer query revealed that the driver\u2019s license was suspended. <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">The officer cited the driver for driving with a suspended license and failing to obey a posted sign.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Recovered Vehicle<\/strong><br \/>\n10:21pm\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 300 Louisburg St and Mount Vernon Ave\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 1994 Green Ford Ranger<\/p>\n<p><strong>SATURDAY, May 31, 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Residential Burglary \u2013 Forcible Entry<br \/>\n9:30pm<br \/>\n1000 43rd Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a residential burglary with forcible entry. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers met a woman who stated that when she returned home, she discovered that an unknown suspect entered her home and stolen one of her personal belongings. The woman stated nothing else was stolen or disturbed. The officers examined the front door and noticed that the door frame had been pried. They determined the point of entry and exited was through the front door.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warrant Arrest<br \/>\n2:24pm<br \/>\n1000 41st Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a report of suspicious people looking at a motorcycle. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers noticed two suspicious people near the motorcycle. The officers approached and identified them. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers met two men who stated that earlier a sign on the premise did not have graffiti on it. However, they later noticed there was graffiti on the sign. The message that the unknown suspect sprayed onto the sign was a hate message.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Malicious Mischief \u2013 Vandalism to Vehicle<br \/>\n6:47pm<br \/>\n100 West Portal Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nA man came into Taraval Station to report vandalism to his vehicle. The man stated to the officer that after he parked his vehicle, he locked it. When he returned to his vehicle, he discovered that an unknown suspect broke his driver side rear door window.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fraudulent Use of Credit Card<br \/>\n10:10am<br \/>\n00 Cragmont Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nA man came into Taraval Station to file a fraud report. The man stated to the officer that he received a bill on one of his accounts. He doesn\u2019t remember the last time he used the account.<\/p>\n<p><strong>False Personation to Receive Money or Property<br \/>\n11:40am<br \/>\n800 Sargent St<\/strong><br \/>\nA woman came into Taraval Station to file a fraud report. The woman stated to the officer that when she checked her credit online, she found a discrepancy. She discovered an unpaid balance owed to a collections agency in another state. The woman stated that she was never in that state and did not give anyone permission to open an account using her personal information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>False Personation to Receive Money \u2013 False Checks<br \/>\n12:19pm<br \/>\n2000 29th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nA man came into Taraval Station to report fraud. The man stated to the officer his bank notified him of a check transaction on his account. When he reviewed his account, he discovered a transactions that he did not make. His bank advised him to contact the police about the unknown written check.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fraudulent Use of Automated Teller Card<br \/>\n1:14pm<br \/>\n200 Winston Dr<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a fraud. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers met a woman who stated that when she was using the ATM, she noticed the suspect standing behind her. The woman decided to briefly go to her vehicle and not close out her current transaction. As she was walking to her vehicle, her cell phone gave her an alert of cash withdrawals made at the ATM she was just at. The woman ran back to the ATM and saw the suspect at the machine. When she confronted the suspect, the suspect fled the scene. There was another man at the scene who she believed to be a lookout.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Suspect 1: Black male, 6\u20190\u201d, 22-32 years old, 160 lbs, black hair, and brown eyes. LSW: T-shirt and jeans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>False Personation to Receive Money or Property \u2013 Fraudulent Use of Credit Cards and Checks \u2013 Lost Property<br \/>\n3:07pm<br \/>\n2000 15th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nA man came into Taraval Station to report fraud and lost property. The man stated the officer that he lost his wallet and the contents in it. The next day, as he was checking his bank account, he discovered withdrawals that he did not make. When the man went to his bank, he learned that an unknown suspect located his bank account and his personal information, deposited stolen checks, and made withdrawals. The unknown suspect also used the man\u2019s credit\/debit cards to make several purchases.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Suspicious Occurrence<br \/>\n8:52am<br \/>\n500 Arballo Dr<\/strong><br \/>\nAn officer responded to a suspicious occurrence. Upon arrival at the scene, the officer with a man who stated that when he was taking out his trash, an unknown suspect was digging through his trash can. When the man ignored the unknown suspect, the suspect began to yell at him. The suspect then fled the scene.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Suspect: Black male, 6\u20190\u201d, 30-35 years old, 170 lbs, black hair, brown eyes. LSW: Navy blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and pushing a grocery cart.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Death Report \u2013 Cause Unknown<br \/>\n11:40am<br \/>\n1000 21st Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nAn officer responded to a death report. Upon arrival at the scene, the officer met a paramedic who stated that the victim was on the ground when they arrived. The officer did not observe any forced entry, signs of a struggle, traumatic injuries, or anything unusual that indicated a crime was committed. The officer then spoke to a resident who stated that earlier they were drinking. When they returned home, everyone went to sleep. When he later attempted to wake up the victim, the victim was unresponsive and not breathing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Driving without a License \u2013 Driving without Proof of Insurance \u2013 Failing to Stop at a Stop Sign \u2013 Cited<br \/>\n5:45pm<br \/>\nBrighton and Holloway<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign. The officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver. The driver stated that he did not have a driver\u2019s license or proof of insurance. The officers then conducted a DMV query that indicated that the driver had never been issued a driver\u2019s license. <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">The officers cited the driver for driving without a license, driving without proof of insurance, and failing to stop at a stop sign.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Driving without a License \u2013 Driving with Nonfunctional Brake Lights \u2013 Cited<br \/>\n6:15pm<br \/>\nBroad and Capitol<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers observed a driver in a vehicle with nonfunctional brake lights. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver. Upon arrival to the scene, the officers met with the victim that stated that a personal belonging was stolen while at the park. The victim stated that her child\u2019s personal belonging was taken by two suspects and then they met up with a third while walking away. The officers conducted a search of the area for the suspects with no results. Upon arrival to the scene, the officer met with a loss prevention associate. The loss prevention associate stated that he saw a man walk out of the store with multiple items without purchasing them, passing manned registers along the way. The loss prevention associate detained the suspect and called the police. Upon arriving to the scene, the officers met the victim. The victim stated that an unknown suspect stole personal belongings from his unlocked bedroom and vandalized other belongings. The victim stated that he believes one of his roommates did this. Upon arriving to the scene, the officer met with the victim. The victim stated an unknown suspect broke her window using a BB gun. She stated that her neighbor recovered multiple BB gun pellets in the area of the broken window. The officer took pictures of the window and later booked them at the Taraval station. He stated that they all pointed handguns at him as they took his belongings. Upon arrival, officers met with a man who was involved in a verbal altercation with a woman. The man reported that the woman took a chemical canister from her bag and sprayed the man in his face. The woman then gathered her belongings and fled the scene.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Investigative Detention for Battery<br \/>\n7:50am<br \/>\n00 Great Highway<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficer responded to a report for battery. The officer met with the victim who reported being struck in his face. The suspect accused the man of taking a cell phone picture and then struck him. The victim did not want to press charges and the officer released the suspect.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Driving with a Suspended License \u2013 Warrant Arrest<br \/>\n9:04am<br \/>\n1800 38th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficer conducted a traffic stop after observing a car with an expired registration tag. Upon arriving to the scene, the officers met with the victim. The victim stated that as she was on her way home, she was approached and pushed to the ground by an unknown suspect. The suspect proceeded to take her personal belongings and ran away in a certain direction. The victim received help from a pedestrian and called the police later that day. Upon arrival to the scene, the officers met with the caller who is a construction worker for the property. The caller stated that upon his arrival to the property, he noticed the door wide open and his construction tools missing. The officers determined that the unknown suspect entered through a window and exited through the front door. The officers took pictures of the scene and booked the evidence at the Taraval station.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residential Burglary \u2013 Unlawful Entry<br \/>\n7:34am<br \/>\n000 Granville Way<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a report of burglary. Upon arrival to the scene, the officers met with the owner and contractor. The contractor stated that he left the residence locked and secured the day before. The following morning he noticed many of his construction items missing and found the front door open. The contractor stated that he believes the unknown suspect entered through the side of the home, as the soil had been recently removed. The officer determined that the suspects exit was through the front door. The officer provided the owner and contractor with a follow up and loss form.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residential Burglary \u2013 Unlawful Entry<br \/>\n11:38pm<br \/>\n300 Gonzalez Dr<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers responded to a report of a possible burglary. Upon arrival to the scene, the officer met with the victim. The victim stated that she believes her previous roommate stole her belonging. She states that she did not give permission for anyone to enter her home or to take her belonging. The officers provided the victim with a follow up form and an additional loss form.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warrant Arrest \u2013 Driving Without a Valid Driver\u2019s License &#8211; Cited<br \/>\n9:01am<br \/>\nRandolph St and Bright St<\/strong><br \/>\nAn officer observed a driver known from previous contacts, to not have a valid driver\u2019s license. The officer conducted a computer check of the suspect and revealed that his license was invalid and had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect quickly pulled over to park and the officer stopped and placed him under arrest. <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">The officer transported the suspect to county jail for booking and completed an administration citation for driving without a valid driver\u2019s license.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Theft from Building<br \/>\n5:11pm<br \/>\n1000 Irving St<\/strong><br \/>\nAn officer responded to a report of petty theft. Upon arrival to the scene, the officer met with a loss prevention associate. The loss prevention associate stated that he was called by an employee mentioning a suspicious person on the upper floor offices. The loss prevention associate went and noticed that several belongings were stolen from a certain office. The woman noticed damage to her vehicle and took pictures to provide to the officers at Taraval station. An officer booked the evidence and provided the victim with a follow up form and a Marcy\u2019s card.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fraud \u2013 False Personation to Receive Money<br \/>\n6:05pm<br \/>\n1000 19th Ave<\/strong><br \/>\nA woman went to the Taraval Station to report identity theft. She provided an officer with information of not filing taxes for a job. She stated that she did not work in the year of the requested tax form as she was occupied doing something else. The officer provided her with a follow up form and information on identity theft.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Unregistered Vehicle \u2013 Suspended\/Revoked Driver\u2019s License \u2013 Cited<br \/>\n6:06pm<br \/>\nSan Jose Ave and Sagamore St<\/strong><br \/>\nOfficers observed a vehicle with an expired registration tag while on patrol. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer records check.
