\nThe victim reported that they had been at a corner market when the suspect began yelling obscenities at them. After some time and the suspect continued to yell at the victim, the victim responded by kicking the suspect’s leg. The suspect then hit the victim’s head and fleeing the area immediately afterwards. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Assault \u2013 Battery of an Officer \u2013 Resisting Arrest \u2013 Case# 220414124<\/span><\/strong><\/span>

\n500 Gellert Dr<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nOfficers responded to a report of a suspect throwing a brick at the victim before hitting the victim’s head with a pipe. Responding officers arrived and located the suspect, who was still holding the pipe and a glass bottle. The suspect refused to drop the items when instructed and raised the pipe higher in the air towards the officers. The officers deployed a non-lethal projectile at the suspect, who then dropped the pipe and glass bottle. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
