\nOfficers responded to a report of a suspect, who was in an altered mental state, trespassing at the SF Water Pump Station. Responding officers arrived at the location and observed the suspect vandalizing property and brandishing a knife while refusing to exit the building. After multiple hours of negotiation with the suspect, the suspect ran out of the building and threatened a victim before damaging the victim’s vehicle. The suspect then stole a piece of mail from a neighbor’s home and ran back inside the \u00a0Water Pump Station. After the arrival of the SFPD Tactical Unit, the suspect was placed into custody<\/span> without further incident.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
