The event highlighted local support for the \u201cTogether We Are Greater than AIDS\u201d campaign. People walking on Irving Street on a brisk Saturday checked out the booths in the Walgreens parking lot.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) is a disease that weakens the human immune system. As a result, people with AIDS are unable to fight off various infections that can lead to death. There is no known cure for AIDS. Global campaigns are held to inform people about how the disease is spread.
