\nThe victim reported, while they had been helping with a garage sale, that the suspect had demanded entry to purchase additional items. The suspect, who was known and had possibly trespassed or squatted in the building before, then pushed and struck the victim multiple times in an attempt to get inside. The suspect then fled the area.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\nA Sergeant, who was assigned to investigate an incident of a store robbery with a gun on 1\/24\/2024, was searching the area for additional video and information. While in the area, the victim reported that the suspect had just walked by the store. Additional officers assisted the Sergeant and detained the suspect. A search revealed a gun in the suspect’s possession. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
